Air Conditioning for Club Car Carryalls with 48V Electric Motor
West Boylston, Massachusetts, May 23, 2019 – Curtis Industries, LLC today announced the release of a compact air conditioning system for 48V electric Club Car Carryalls 300, 500, 550 and 700 models. The unit features fully self-contained refrigeration components pre-charged with R134a refrigerant.
This is a true automotive quality air conditioner that provides cooling comfort, improved air quality and humidity control in any climate. And with the electric Carryall, the air conditioning can run continually even when the vehicle is stopped.
The system uses standard automotive grade components with a tube and fin evaporator and a bar and plate condenser for automotive grade durability. The refrigerant components are completely contained within the roof-top unit and shipped from the factory fully charged with R134a refrigerant, minimizing installation time and complexity.
The air conditioning unit features a stylish, low-profile design that is incorporated into a replacement roof. The system uses patent-pending “dynamic load control” software to precisely manage the vehicle electrical power.
A custom overhead console features 3-speed fan control, illuminated on/off switch and four adjustable louvers to circulate air throughout the cab.
Curtis air conditioning is also available for the Carryall pedal and key start gas engine vehicles.
Installation takes about two hours and does not require specialized knowledge or training in air conditioning installation or maintenance.
